Revolut introduces bank services to Malta
Revolut boasts over 190,000 customers in Malta and with this added service, that number is set to grow
Revolut, the world renowned financial platform, most famously known for its app, has announced that users in Malta are now able to upgrade to Revolut Bank.
With over 190,000 customers, Maltese users will now be able to enjoy “more control, value and security than traditional banks” through deposit accounts.
Revolut Bank CEO, Virgilijus Mirkes said:
“Revolut is now the fastest growing fintech company in Europe because we put the customer at the heart of everything that we do. Our product design is second to none, we have no hidden fees, and we are constantly building new and innovative financial products.”
“Launching the bank in Malta will provide a greater level of security and confidence for our customers, and will enable us to launch a host of new products and services in the near future.”
The deposit guarantee scheme will help users be extra protected, guaranteeing customer safety especially in an age where hackers and cyberattacks are prominent.
The specialised licence allows Revolut Bank to provide specific but limited banking services via their app, together with a number of financial services and products already offered by other Revolut Group companies.
