Moralis and Cronos integrate to lay the foundations for Web3
In a joint announcement by the Cronos chain and the Moralis suite, the former is now supported by Moralis’ excellent suite of developer tools and APIs. A partnership meant to build the nascent Web3 ecosystem, the partners have announced a Web3 Metaverse Hackathon to the tune of $60,000.

A leading blockchain network with full EVM-compatibility, Cronos plans to onboard the next billion Web3 users through the help of its over 250 on-chain applications and partners which include the likes of giants such as Crypto.com, Crypto.org and many many more. Through Moralis, Web3 dApp developers will be able to critically simplify their workflow through the suite’s industry-leading high-performance JSON-RPC endpoints, cryptocurrency and NFT data indexers, and other advanced functionalities. Cronos integration is available for Moralis Identity, Moralis Real-Time, Moralis API and Moralis SDK.
dApp developers can then offer cross-chain connections with their end-users through injected Web3 wallets such as MetaMask and TrustWallet as well as any other wallets using Wallet Connect. In the pipeline, the next few weeks may see a native integration with Crypto.com’s DeFi Wallet.

Web3 Hackathon: A time to build
Stretching from August 20th to September 25th, 2022 with a prize pool of $60,000 already announced and more on the horizon, the partners are looking for a leading team to take the charge on a Gaming, GameFi or Metaverse application on the Cronos blockchain. A prototype or MVP by the end of the time period is vital for eligibility.
